Hello there, I’m Alexander Antezana. I’m a visual designer based in Los Angeles.
I am a visual design professional with more than 7 years experience, seeking an opportunity to apply my skills in new, challenging ways. I have had the privilege of collaborating with museums and galleries to manage their artwork, collaborate with the preparation/curatorial staff, and prepare exhibitions; most notably the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art and Culture in Riverside, CA.
Following my graduation from Azusa Pacific University, I served as an artist assistant working with college students, graduates and independent artists designing, constructing and installing their works in museums and galleries. This role has taught me to continually expand my technical expertise to suit their respective needs and mediums.
Photographing artwork for publication changed everything. I have always considered myself a tactile, three-dimensional artist however, once I picked up a camera I was driven to master it; to capture moments and preserve them in a single frame.
If you can think it, I can plan it; I can build it; I can frame it.
